Hello, could someone of you please make an English version of this article please? Franch, Spanish, Catalan, Ocitan or Portuguese would be fine too (in the appropriate wikipedia). Many thanks, --79.40.157.170 16:31, 10 Novembru 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I have made a "free translation" of this article into English and Portuguese (Brazilian). Please correct any mistakes. I used the dictionaries and other material available on the Internet. My interest in Geoffrey Hull is related to his studies of North Italian dialects, but I also admire his role in your country's development. However, I did not go into too much detail on his activities during the Indonesian occupation, etc., because my understanding of Tetum is limited and this is a very delicate matter. This article will probably be translated into other languages, so please make any changes you think appropriate to my English and Portuguese versions. Bye for now. LombardBeige

Many thanks!--Padaneis 18:18, 23 Abríl 2010 (UTC)

URGENT: Hello friends of East Timor: Some issues have been raised, I think by the editors, in the discussion section of the English version. Could somebody address them. This goes beyond my personal competence and, perhaps, beyond my comprehension. So far, no problems in the Portuguese version and only limited editing in the Galician version (by the editors, who are more concerned with the linguistic aspect, i.e. the correctness of the language in terms of the official Galician standard). I'm sure there won't be any problems in the Piemontese and other subsequent North Italian versions, as we are all big fans of Geoffrey Hull. LombardBeige

PS. Please see my comments in the "Discussion" section of the English version. I found this in the English Wiki article on Martinho da Costa Lopes:

Former Australian Prime Minister Whitlam, called the bishop "a liar, who was simply stirring up trouble".[citation needed] However his denunciations proved so controversial and supported by outside agencies that Indonesia could no longer tolerate them.
